Recently we have been getting several calls from around the country asking about our older scrolling mobile billboards and if we are interested in selling them. The answer is yes we are currently selling our older systems. I don’t want people to think that it’s because of the economy or because it has something to do with the advertising industry. We’ve just had these units and have used them for several campaigns. Also, we just built a batch of new L.E.D. Hybrid Digital Mobile Billboard Trucks and Trailer and this is where all of our time and energy is going.
So for those people interested in the Scrolling Mobile Billboards, here the scoop; We had 6 1997-98 units and we did not want to put any time and effort into upgrading the old scrolling systems. We sold 3 of the units last month and still have 3 more units. They are in excellent condition but will need to have the scrollers upgraded. The units are diesel and have very low mileage 70k to 125k miles and these Isuzu built / GMC branded vehicles can easily go 400k to 500k miles. The remaining units all have the yellow fiberglass boxes, with DOT glass windows on all 3 sides. They all have climate controlled systems and self-contained power as well as shoreline power systems. 1 unit has a hybrid power system that drives the scrollers on solar and on power from the engine.
